Coach Zach Toren remembers his first day on the ice in Minnesota, where he grew up. That's when he became hooked on hockey. He played throughout his youth, including high school hockey, trained with Doug Woog (former MN Gophers Head Hockey Coach), and competed against Jake Guentzel (now with Pittsburg Penguins).

Zach is founder of Ice Wolf Hockey and currently lives in Port Orchard with his family.

Zach's Stats: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U & 16U USA Hockey TM coaching modules, SafeSport training, 2024 USA Hockey background screen, member of Ice Hockey Systems. Zach has been playing hockey 22-years, starting as a Squirt. He brings prior athletics coaching experience and enjoys working with kids of all ages.

Ice Wolf Hockey programs are independent of USA HockeyTM , although training is inspired by USA Hockey best practices and Hockey Systems development programs.

The goal of Ice Wolf Hockey is to ensure each player has fun, elevates their strengths, hones areas for improvement, and are hooked on HOCKEY!
