The Right Fit
1
Beginner
Beginners to hockey start at various ages. No matter the age, we can help them learn the game, teach them how to skate for hockey, work with them on fundamentals, agility and knowledge so they expand their mastery, love for the sport, and confidence to move forward. All with FUN built in.

We have beginner programs for the following age levels:
8U (6yrs-8yrs) / 10U (9yrs-10yrs) / 12U (11yrs-12yrs)
2
Intermediate
Intermediate players have good skills for skating, hockey fundamentals, stick and puck play, situation drills, and more. What's next is to elevate those capabilities by advancing speed, puck control, passing, receiving, shooting, offensive concepts and defensive concepts, and helping them leverage their natural instincts for the game.
Agility, balance, coordination, positioning, zone coverage and other important milestones are the foundation for this mid-range player to excel in before advancing.

Private Coaching
As a player utilizing a private coach, the progression is completely customized to where that player is and where they want to be. The key of 1-to-1 coaching is consistency, communication, drive and progression at the activity level and pace that fits the individual player.

Private coaching is ideal for intermediate and advanced players. There are a limited number of openings for private coaching. All are booked on a first-served basis.

Proper equipment is a safeguard to every hockey player on the ice. We provide sticks for beginners to use and hockey skates are available for rental. Most of the work with beginners is around hockey skating skills and basic stick handling/carrying a puck, so we advise basic player safety equipment to get started. Beyond beginner, Ice Wolf Hockey requires that each player wear full protective gear for on-ice sessions.
New to hockey? Hockey retailers sell turnkey hockey outfitting sets or individual items. There are also used resellers that may offer just what you need. Either way, your player will adjust quickly to wearing their gear. It's fun!
